Larry and Mandi had a BABY!!!

Howdy Partners!

This photo shoot was pretty neat for me because, Larry and I go way back!! I've had the pleasure of knowing this gent since we were 16, and it's safe to say Larry is and was the type of friend who would come and bail you out of a tight spot, even on a school night. Yes, a school night!

Larry and Mandi had their first child a few days ago, and I couldn't be more happier for them. We did our maternity session at a private residence/dream location. A Dirt road, live oaks, and B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L landscaping also made a special guest appearance. Oh, and we cannot forget the early morning fog!!!

Larry, I am so happy for you. I've been able to witness you and Mandi get engaged, marry your best friend, and now start your own family. Mandi, you're an amazing woman, thank you for loving my friend so much. You balance him perfectly! And Tripp, little buddy... you're too cute for words. It's going to be great to see you grow up to be a good man, but don't grow up too fast. And if you ever get a phone call to help out your friends, make sure you tell your Dad. he'll know what to do!

Please enjoy this warm hug from me and the M family!

Bat-man and Superman are having a baby!!!

Glad to see you hear again!

Today's post is a special post. Rarely do I get to take photos of the people I love like I used to. So you can imagine how excited I was when my baby cousin April asked me to take her maternity photos! I knew this was going to be a really fun, and relaxed session. Because my cousin has an affinity for all things Bat-man, and as far back as I can recall... she always has, even as a little girl. As fate would have it, her boyfriend also shares in a superhero fandom for Superman. It was an adorable session, and extra important to us all, because it was out on our Grandma's property.

I also did a session with my other cousin Nina (April's sister), who is also expecting. Her blog post is coming next.

Today, at this very moment... April is at the hospital, in labor for the arrival of her first child. I am so happy for her, and proud to see the beautiful young woman, and now Mother that she was destined to become.
April, you will be a fantastic Mother, and your photos turned out lovely!

Please enjoy this warm hug, from me and my family.

Stephanie and Troy Got married!!!

Hello, and Happy New year to you!!

2014 is looking to blow 2013 out of the water with weddings and sessions already. I am so excited for the photography perks, and adventures that await me. Little ole perks like DESTINATION WEDDINGS!!!! :)
Have I mentioned that I love my business?! I greatly look forward to sharing those future posts with you in the near future.

Moving along...

Troy and Stephanie got married this November at Brazos Springs in Angelton, and their wedding was lovely. Live oaks for the outdoor ceremony, and a drop dead gorgeous candlelit rustic theme for the reception.

Stephanie's dress was to die for, and I will admit, I went absolutely nuts when I saw her in it. She was stunning, and a very relaxed Bride. She and her mother designed every detail, and it really shows through the photos how hard they worked together. Both Stephanie and Troy were over the moon to finally be husband and wife, and celebrate with their loved ones. Great music, great food, and amazing memories! I wish them both many joyous years together.

Please enjoy this warm hug from me and the newlyweds.

Christmas, 2013!

Hello again,

It's such a beautiful day here in Texas. And yes, we even have "cold" weather for this fast approaching Christmas. And since I am currently deadline free (HOLLLLLAAAAAAA!!!!!), today has become a day of much needed Christmas prep with my sons. Wrapping gifts, watching old movies, and new. It's given me a clear head, and almost nothing to do. Today, I can't help but reflect on this year, and my little growing family.

Jacob and I have been parents now for a very short 5.5 years, and with each year, I try my best to come up with a Christmas photo that illustrates our family the best. With one photo, that can be quite a task. Especially when two little boys have their own ideas. So that one photo has to be lasting, and unforgettable.

Last year my youngest was a brand new baby. Everything was small, and new. My eldest was adjusting very well to being our "one and only" for four years, to being a big brother. For him, being an older brother was, and still is better than being a super hero. That's why this photo will always be so dear to me, and without any words...  this photo speaks so loudly about their brotherly love, and relationship. Gentle protective love. The total opposite of  "controlling and competition". On the contrary, he wanted his brother so badly to be here, I know that he will always want his brother. And for that, I couldn't be more thankful for his protective loving nature.

This year hasn't been much different in regards to their beautiful friendship, but now "The Boss" moves around on his own, and really wants to keep up with his big brother. That age difference doesn't matter. He has an adventurous heart like his big brother, and wants to get into everything he sees him doing. "The Duke" never turns him away either. He MUST take him along for the ride, they're a package deal. And everything their Father and I have prayed for.

So once again, this years photo truly does show off this pair of brothers, the way I usually see them. Together, and making memories.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by all these handsome men. I don't know what I would do without those sweet faces in my life. Thank you Lord for a very successful year in business, but above all thank you for my family. I am confident 2014 will also be just as blessed.

Here's a warm HUG, from my family... to yours.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

The F Family

Hello again!

Things are quite busy over here at the Tyler home. Our house has been teeming with Christmas music, and Holiday activity. And yes, of course Christmas photos.

This time of year has shown to be very busy for my photography in 2013. There seems to be such a glow and warmth from all around me these days, it's contagious. That's why I had to share this recent family photo session I had with the F Family. These three beautiful ladies were so fun, and easy to photograph. There really was very little direction needed. This is how they really relate to one another- loving, joyful, and warm. With lots and LOTS of hugs (my favorite)!

Originally, our session  was scheduled for downtown Rosenberg, but Dawn asked me if I knew of any "dirt roads"? Do I EVER!!! Life as a photographer you know of many dirt roads. You might even get lost down a few...but that's for another blog, another time. Instead, we met at Seabourne Creek Park for a sunset session, and I am so very glad we did.

The moment I take a photo, I tend to know if it will be a "favorite" worthy of a post or a "teaser" for my client's to view before my final edits. With this session, I had too many  favorites, it was basically what I would like to call "photography glee overload". When I got home, I was so pleased with the emotions and love coming from those photos, I couldn't wait to share this blog. Dawn showed an unconditional love and warmth for her darling children that could easily be paralleled to the rays of  the sun in our photo shoot.

Please enjoy this warm hug from me, and the F Family!

Baby Wolf- Maternity

Hello again,

It has been quite some time since my last post. Due to my broken hand, editing has been slowed to a snails pace for me. As you can imagine, I'm happy I have a chance to recover before wedding season spikes up again. WHEW! Honestly, I think my husband has been nothing but an angel to help with my client's needs and emails and a bit of light editing -with my guidance. Anyhow, enough about the boring "broken bones, and how I cope" stuff! Let's get to the pictures.

I did this session as a gift for an old family friend, and his girlfriend Kaitlyn at the Stafford firehouse. Brad is a firefighter as you will see, and the location was just AMAZING! Who wouldn't want to take cute bump photos at the firehouse on such a beautiful day?! exactly!

Brad, I am so happy for you and your family. Baby Wolf is adorable, and I am so proud to give you these great memories for him to see, when he's older.

Please enjoy this warm hug from me, and all the glorious red!
