My Father, the Hero
In my home we are very fitness oriented. With busy schedules and a growing family, we find play time as also an opportunity to squeeze in a few reps here or there. For example my husband plays soccer with our eldest in a weighted vest. It looks pretty funny, but he gets results. Those results are indeed visible with his physique (Pictured below), and in how our son views fatherhood, and his dad. He looks up to his daddy, and one day wants to be just like him. If you were to ask my boy who the strongest, smartest, super hero was, he would of course say his dad. And, he would also gladly tell you that his dad is better than your dad. ....We are working on the latter.
Both of our boys adore their father, just like my husband adores his father, and I adore mine. I thank God each day that He has surrounded me with such manly men. And Godly examples of fatherhood. I couldn't ask for a better partner in raising these boys into men.
I look forward to the day we teach the baby how to bust a flex. You better believe he'll be shirtless doing these progress photos with his big brother and daddy too.
Enjoy!

Lacey and Tommy
Here's another Throwback Thursday post for you all today!
This was a wedding I did a couple of years ago at Las Brisas Farm in beautiful Fayetteville Texas.
The bride and groom were so amazingly relaxed, and in love. To date, Lacey was one of my most photogenic brides. The camera loved her so much, we had magic in almost every single shot.
Thank you Tommy and Lacey for allowing me to take part in your special day, I wish y'all both many years!

The M Family
This adorable family and maternity session was for my dear friend Libby and her super sweet brood at Sugar Land Memorial Park.
Libby and I go way back into the high school days, so you can imagine how excited I was to meet her two handsome boys, and adoring husband for the first time. Libby is also expecting a little girl due this summer! I am so happy for my friend, and feel blessed to be apart of this special time in her family life.
Please enjoy this warm hug of family photos!

Mama's, do let you son's grow up to be cowboys!
While editing my most recent photo session, my youngest was playing at my feet. His big brother must have left behind his favorite cowboy hat to go feed the chicken's (yes we have those!), and clearly this baby has been wanting this hat for some time.
This little guy didn't waste a second, with a Texas takeover, that hat was his! And from the look of things, that hat must have been chock full of flavor.
Thankfully we have been blessed with a good "big brother", because when he saw his little brother, he didn't think anything of it! He got down on the floor next to him, let out a giggle, and even helped to put on this giant cowboy hat. Proclaiming it to "fit" on his baby brother in a deep voice of pride.
Thank God for Texas Boys!!!

Weddings at the Texas Renaissance Festival
Calling all Lords and Ladies!
This was from a wedding I did in October... Throwback Thursdays!
Although I am a native Texan, my first time to ever visit the Texas Renaissance Festival was as a wedding photographer. Two weeks after giving birth to my second child, I was asked to document a not so ordinary wedding, for a very beautiful, one of a kind girl. To date Kayla was one of the most easy going, laid back brides I have ever encountered.
While at the festival I not only had the pleasure of riding on her bridal horse and carriage with her and the adorable flower girls, I also had a chance to feast upon a GIANT turkey leg. Or at least I will assume it was turkey. Either way the first time experience was wonderful. I know for sure that Kayla and Kenneth's wedding will be one I will never forget. Please enjoy!
If you would like to hire me as your wedding or any event please email me at AlexandriaTylerPhotography@gmail.com or call me (832)-278-3549, I would love to hear from you!

Not just a wedding photographer anymore!
Hello and welcome to my blog!
Alexandria Tyler Photography (That't me!) has been in business for almost eight years now. Wow. And with all starts to any business, comes the trial and error process. (Yes that thing.) When you first start out with your business you should have a plan in mind. With question's for yourself such as, what you want from your client's, and what you can deliver to them?
When I began this journey into the life of photography, I was a newly engaged young twentysomething.
I was attracted to love, engagement photos, and WEDDING'S! I pored myself over any wedding or photography magazine I could get my hands on, obsessing over photo after photo while planning my own nuptial's. Soon after getting married, I emerged my own business into the wedding scene. I knew how to relate to the new couple, speak the language of the Bride's, and be sensitive to the detail's that a wedding requires. My number one goal with every wedding is to truly make friendship's, and connection's with my bride's. I want them to feel comfortable laughing and crying in front of me, and yes book for anniversary sessions.
However, in the beginning with my business, I took the stale approach of taking myself out of the equation. To simply make it "just business" and not include any of my friendly detail's, or personal stories. and... That's.Just.Not.Me!
Now, I am a late married twentysomething, with two beautiful son's, and an added view on life. I have become known for my portraiture, and gift for making the most camera shy people really enjoy just being themselves with me and my camera friend. I have made built my business on a personable foundation, and would love to continue that with my family, friend's, client's, client's to be, and supporters here at this blog.
I am very excited to share my beautiful moment's and memories with you all!
Hold on to your hat's.....
