TBT: Amy & John ~ Engagement Session

This Throw Back Thursday post is for Amy and John. They have to be one of my favorite engagement sessions to date. Amy and John were fun, positive and the camera LOVED them. We did this session almost 2 years ago, in Downtown Houston and Discovery Green. The results were amazing, from an amazing couple. I have never had so much fun on the job, and looking forward to seeing my friends for Amy's sister's wedding this July!!!

Please enjoy this warm hug from The Wynn's and myself!

PS- we did get kicked out of certain locations. ;)

The little thing's

The days have been busy and long in the Tyler home this year. I am learning what it's like to juggle a larger photography work load, add a second business, not to mention an extra child all at once.

This year Mother's day for me, will have a much deeper meaning.

Younger Alex would stay up all night, and sleep till 10am. Alex of one child would sleep less, but she had sleep. Busy mom of two Alex is exhausted! But blissfully happy.

I won't lie, those mornings,( like today) when I have had two hours of sleep aren't easy. But, how many people get to live this life, and take this opportunity I have been given? I should never forget the little things. Like staying home with a successful business, or how happy this lil' guy is when I get him from nap. He looks at me like a rock-star every time! A big grin just like his Daddies, and I don't have to miss a moment. "Thank You Jesus!" is all I can think.

Today's Mantra?
"Pour yourself another cup of white tea, rub some dirt in it, and don't forget the little things"...

Enjoy this warm hug from us!

Stephanie and Troy ~ Engagement Session

Troy and Stephanie had a very special location in mind for this engagement session. Fate brought them together on this very bridge when they were just children. And now, they're adults getting married this November!

When I arrived they were already on the bridge together, holding hands and very much in love. This couple has a been there for each other no matter what. Loyalty would be the first word that comes to mind when I think of their relationship.

As you can see from below, the pictures speak for themselves. Beautiful!

Please enjoy this warm hug from Stephanie, Troy and myself. :)

Mr. & Mrs. May ~ Anniversary Session

I am very excited about this Throwback Thursday post! The May family has to be one of my favorite repeat client's. I adore seeing them any chance I can get. They're really an amazing fun loving family, who above all honor Christ, and love each other. Their daughter Jessica is now a photographer herself, and pretty talented I might add.

A few years ago we had a fantastic time doing some engagement style photos in old town Tomball, before an intimate vow renewal ceremony at their church with close family and friends. This couple is an inspiration and example of a happy marriage. I wish them many many more wonderful years of being in love.

Please enjoy this nice warm hug from me and the May's. :)

My Father, the Hero

In my home we are very fitness oriented. With busy schedules and a growing family, we find play time as also an opportunity to squeeze in a few reps here or there. For example my husband plays soccer with our eldest in a weighted vest. It looks pretty funny, but he gets results. Those results are indeed visible with his physique (Pictured below), and in how our son views fatherhood, and his dad. He looks up to his daddy, and one day wants to be just like him. If you were to ask my boy who the strongest, smartest, super hero was, he would of course say his dad. And, he would also gladly tell you that his dad is better than your dad. ....We are working on the latter.

Both of our boys adore their father, just like my husband adores his father, and I adore mine. I thank God each day that He has surrounded me with such manly men. And Godly examples of fatherhood. I couldn't ask for a better partner in raising these boys into men.

I look forward to the day we teach the baby how to bust a flex. You better believe he'll be shirtless doing these progress photos with his big brother and daddy too.

Enjoy!

Lacey and Tommy

Here's another Throwback Thursday post for you all today!

This was a wedding I did a couple of years ago at Las Brisas Farm in beautiful Fayetteville Texas.
The bride and groom were so amazingly relaxed, and in love. To date, Lacey was one of my most photogenic brides. The camera loved her so much, we had magic in almost every single shot.

Thank you Tommy and Lacey for allowing me to take part in your special day, I wish y'all both many years!

Best Friends!
